September school holiday program now open!
Our Social Connection Group for autistic and neurodivergent preteens returns for the September/ October school holidays.
This small, supportive 2-day workshop is designed for 9 – 12 year olds to help build friendships and develop practical strategies for managing big emotions.

✔ Supports confidence without pressure to “mask”
Program focus
Preteens will be supported to:
- Build social confidence
- Develop meaningful peer connections
- Strengthen communication skills
- Learn emotional regulation strategies
- Understand their strengths and identity
Activities are interest-based, flexible and adapted to each child’s sensory and communication needs.
Who is this suitable for?
- Autistic preteens (approx. ages 9–12). No formal diagnosis required.
- Neurodivergent children (including ADHD, anxiety and social communication differences).
- Children who find social situations overwhelming.
- Children who benefit from gentle, structured social opportunities.
Available sessions
GROUP 1
- WHEN: Tuesday 29 September & Thursday 1 October
- TIME: 1pm – 4pm
- WHERE: Greenhouse Paediatrics purpose-built gym
GROUP 2
- WHEN: Tuesday 6 October & Thursday 8 October
- TIME: 1pm – 4pm
- WHERE: Greenhouse Paediatrics purpose-built gym
For families using NDIS funding, please check that your child’s plan includes psychology funding. Invoices can be sent directly to your plan manager.
