Building Emotional Regulation in Preteens
Registrations for July school holidays now open!
Big feelings can feel overwhelming for preteens, but they don’t have to navigate them alone.
This neuroaffirming group supports children aged 9–12 to better understand their emotions and build practical emotional regulation skills in a safe, supportive environment. Through fun, structured and age-appropriate activities, preteens learn how their feelings connect to their body, thoughts and behaviours, while developing strategies to manage frustration, anxiety and impulsivity. With a focus on confidence, resilience and emotional awareness, the program gives kids space to practise new skills without pressure or judgement.
