Program Focus
Our experienced Occupational Therapists and Speech Pathologists have designed this program to strengthen essential developmental and social skills through play, exploration, and connection.
Children will:
- Build Gross Motor Skills – movement, balance, and body awareness activities to boost confidence and coordination.
- Refine Fine Motor Skills – cutting, drawing, and pencil control to develop early writing readiness.
- Enhance Communication Skills – social games, sharing, and turn-taking to promote expressive and receptive language.
- Support Emotional Readiness – learning to manage transitions, follow routines, and engage cooperatively.
- Develop Independence – practising self-care, organisation, and flexible thinking skills for school life.
Individualised Outcomes
Each child’s participation will be observed by our therapy team to identify strengths and areas that would benefit from additional support.
Families will receive:
- Individual Kindy Transition Report – summarising your child’s developmental profile, skill progress, and focus areas for home and school practice.
- “This Is Me” Teacher Profile – a concise, strengths-based snapshot designed for your child’s new Kindy teacher, highlighting communication preferences, sensory needs, and supports that help them thrive.
Our Approach
We use neuroaffirming and play-based practices, recognising that every child develops differently.
Our goal is to help children feel confident, capable, and connected as they begin their educational journey.
We focus on creating a joyful, inclusive environment that encourages exploration, participation, and a sense of belonging.
